For certain, I have failed as a blogger by having another month or so of no content.
Understand, I aim to do better on that front; I really do.
Coming up with meaningful legal ethics issues to discuss here is not easy, but between my bustling practice (for which I am grateful) and other professional and personal commitments, I’ve been making it even harder than it would normally be.
Knowing that, however, is not the entirety of the battle of fixing things but only a part of the battle.
Talking about legal ethics issues is something I get to do daily both in dealing with my clients and sometimes in various speaking engagements that often get scheduled in bursts on my end.
Relatively recently though I got the chance to record a podcast episode about a little-discussed ethics rule that I have long thought deserves to be treated as more important than some might think.
Understanding what Model Rule 2.1 can mean for lawyers seemed important back when I recorded the episode but is now, perhaps, going to be of even more exponential importance.
Month-long gaps in sharing thoughts about legal ethics isn’t good for me or for any committed readers I might still have, my efforts to avoid further instances will intensify.
